OSDU™ Test Datasets
Your 47Lining Enterprise PaaS - Adoption Catalyst includes schemas and test datasets provided by the OSDU Forum. Those schemas and test datasets include Wells and Seismic domains.
OSDU Data Types
The OSDU Data Platform supports several types of data and usage patterns.
- Reference Data - Sets of structured values, used as an authoritative controlled vocabulary or managed taxonomy. For example, a list of service providers or countries, each with relevant structured data.
- Master Data - Authoritative instances of structured master data types, each with additional details and embedded Reference Data. For example, an authoritative set of Well Facilities with their locations, current production status, etc.
- Work Product Components - Complex data types that make up the bulk of the datasets. They include Master and Reference data links within their instances. For example, Well Logs and Wellbore Trajectories.
OSDU Schemas
The OSDU Data Platform uses JSON schemas to define the shape and format of the data ingested and cataloged in the system. When a new type or kind is defined, the system uses the JSON schema to cement that definition. Subsequent data is supplied to the system in the form of instances that conform to the schema of that kind.
OSDU Domains
This is the list of available test datasets included as part of the OSDU Data Platform. Check the OSDU Community Wiki for the current list and added information. Also, check the OSDU Test Data Site for specific procedures, scripts and artifacts provided by the OSDU Forum for use with test datasets that they provide and with the OSDU Data Platform.
